A private chauffeur on your schedule: as-directed days, evening events in San Francisco and on the Peninsula, and airport transfers from home.
Atherton is almost entirely residential: long private drives, gated properties, quiet tree-lined roads and very little commercial traffic. Transportation here is less about getting from A to B and more about having a car and a chauffeur available when the day calls for one, and about that chauffeur knowing how to arrive at a private home.
Golden Eye Limo provides that on an hourly, as-directed basis. You reserve a chauffeur and vehicle for a block of time, and the day goes where you need it to: a doctor's appointment at Stanford, lunch in Palo Alto, a stop at the office, a school pickup at Menlo School or Sacred Heart, and a gala in San Francisco that evening. The chauffeur waits between stops, so there is no re-booking and no wondering whether a ride will turn up.
Hourly and point-to-point rates are base rates; 20% gratuity, 10% fuel surcharge and 4% tax are added. Every total is confirmed before you book. See full pricing

An as-directed booking is a chauffeur and vehicle reserved for you for several hours, with the itinerary as flexible as you need. It suits busy days with several stops, visiting family who need to be moved around, or a guest in town for a few days. The chauffeur learns how you like the day to run: where to wait, which entrance to use, when to call ahead.
Many Atherton evenings end up in San Francisco: the opera, the symphony, charity galas and dinners. The drive up I-280 is easy at night, and a chauffeur means a drop-off at the door, a car waiting at a pre-arranged spot when the evening ends, and no one needing to stay sober to drive home. For events at Holbrook-Palmer Park or private homes nearby, a Sprinter or several SUVs can shuttle guests from parking or from their hotels.
We take care with residential pickups: confirming gate codes and intercom instructions in advance, arriving a few minutes early without idling in the drive, and handling luggage into and out of the house if you wish. Chauffeurs are discreet by default and sign NDAs on request, and confirmations go only to the people you name on the booking.
SFO is about 25 minutes away off-peak, and we track every arrival and set departure pickups from your flight and the day's traffic. For private flights from San Carlos, Palo Alto, SJC or SFO, see private aviation car service.
